Try HomeDepot or Lowes they usually carry the oversized plastic ones. You may even want to try Target I think I remember them having some plastic ones as well last year!

All out door lighting is glass as far as i know,have been used for year’s.May beable to find a string lighting that has a plastic cover over the whole lenght.

Walmart has some plastic ornaments, they are in a plastic contaner, I don’t know how many are in there. I bought it for about $15 and didn’t use all of them.
