I want to work at a mall next to me because it’s right next to my college. I don’t want to work retail because I suck at folding and usually can’t spend more than 2 hours in a department store before I get dizzy (don’t kno why.. don’t ask lol). I was thinking of working at a gift shop (but my friend worked at Hallmark and said she hated putting all the cards back) I was also thinking of working at See’s candies, because I’m familiar with it since my family always goes there. Have you ever worked at the mall? What place did you work there that you liked, or would like to work? Thanks..

Don’t forget that the mall itself has a business office. They are responsible for renting the spaces, hiring the repair and maintenance people, and doing advertising for the mall itself. You might check with them, as that would be a sit-down job, not one where you’d be on your feet all the time. The larger department stores also have business offices, of course.

I’d like to work at Things remembered or a candle shop.

I think you should work somewhere where you like to go, for instance if you shop at Aeropostale, work there, you’ll get discounts and have a work at somewhere you enjoy. My sister used to work at Body Shop, a store where they sell perfumes, lotions, almost like Victoria’s Secret, without the bras, and she used to bring home tons of stuff, every week. Don’t work at someplace you don’t like, if you don’t shop there don’t work there, it’s most likely going to be boring, just think if the boss finds out you shop at the store, they’ll definitely hire someone familiar to the place.
