I have a best friend, who I really do love. I can tell her anything, and equally she can tell me. We do many things together and have so much fun.
But recently, I’ve just been noticing the bad things about her personality, like how she sometimes sounds like a ‘Hallmark card’ filled with quotes of courage, and how she’s always late, etc.
Is it because we’ve spent too much time together, or what? Does this happen to anyone else?

YES
i think after a while when you really know someone, you start to REALLY know them
i’m like that with my best friend a lot too
but then i think about the positives about her and then i think that i should be thankful

Me and my best friend spent way to much time together and started to fight all the time.
But it sounds like you too are pretty tight.
You should be very grateful.

Yep, expecially if it seems like a Hallmark card. Just give eachother a few days to chill out and then meet up again. As easy as you get sick of her, the eaisier it is to miss her when she is gone.

It happens to everyone.
Make sure you’re friends with other people too.
Your friendship is becoming more of a sisterhood, which is in some cases good but however, it makes you more aggrivated with eachother.
It happened with my best friend since kindergarten, and now we don’t even talk. It’s a good thing you noticed it before things got out of hand and you got in a big fight or did something you really regret.
you guys can still be really close, but make sure you don’t get too close.
Don’t get me wrong though, it’s great to have someone you can tell everything too, but try and see eachother only once a week outside of school, not like everyday.
